- Are you licensed?
- Yes. NDE Construction et Rénovation holds a valid RBQ licence (no. 5865995401), verifiable in the public register of the RBQ, Quebec’s building authority. Insurance certificates are provided with the quote.
- Which areas do you work in?
- NDE Construction et Rénovation works in the West Island and in the Vaudreuil-Soulanges area. A cottage has already been built in the Saguenay: distance alone is not an obstacle. Describe yours, and the scope, the schedule and the distance will allow a quick answer.
- How long does a typical project take?
- The duration depends entirely on the scope: a custom bathroom and a full home addition are not on the same schedule. A precise estimate is given at the first meeting.
- How does the process work?
- There are four stages: the form, a call to talk the project through, a visit we set up together, then a detailed quote before any work begins.
- Major renovation or home addition: which one?
- A major renovation reworks an existing volume; an addition adds one. The first costs less and moves faster when the floor area is already enough; the second becomes the right call as soon as a room is missing. Budget and municipal zoning often decide before taste does.
- General contractor or owner-builder support: what is the difference?
- A general contractor takes full responsibility for the site and answers for the result. NDE Construction et Rénovation also works in a support role: the owner stays in charge of the project and of the subtrades, and the crew brings its field experience, its advice and the execution of certain portions of the work.
- What does owner-builder support include?
- In a support role, NDE Construction et Rénovation does not become the general contractor for the site. The crew helps you understand what is coming, weigh technical options and coordinate the next stages. Depending on your needs, it can also take on certain stages of the work: on a recent project, interior partitions, drywall, panelled ceilings, mouldings and various finishing stages.
