General contractor in Les Cèdres

An old village along the river, and new neighbourhoods behind it.

Custom builds, major renovations and home additions. RBQ licence 5865995401.

Two villages in the same municipality.

Les Cèdres reads in two parts. Along the river and the old Soulanges canal, a village core with houses more than a century old. Behind it, far more recent residential developments, built over the last twenty years on square lots.

The two do not call for the same work. In the old village, we open things up to see what previous renovations left behind. In the newer neighbourhoods the structure is sound and everything left to do is inside: a basement never finished, a garage that has never been anything but storage.

A project that is not on the list? Write to us, and we will tell you right away whether it is in our wheelhouse.

What people in Les Cèdres ask us.

Our basement was never finished. Where do we start?

With water and air, before walls. We check whether there has been damp, where the drains run and how the basement breathes. A basement finished over a moisture problem undoes itself within a few years, and it is a repair we see regularly.

Do you work outside your territory?

It happens. The territory shown is where we go without question. Anywhere else in Greater Montreal, write to us with your address and we will give you a yes or a no quickly.

How long does a project take?

It depends on the scope and on what we find once things are open. We give a schedule once the plan is settled, and we tell you when something moves it. A timeline announced before the plan is a made-up timeline.

Are you licensed?

Yes. NDE Construction et Rénovation holds RBQ licence 5865995401. You can check it yourself on the RBQ website, Quebec’s building authority, before signing anything.
