General contractor in DDO
The split-level capital.
Custom builds, major renovations and home additions. RBQ licence 5865995401.
Half-storeys to rearrange.
Dollard-Des Ormeaux, which everyone calls DDO, grew mostly through the 1960s and 1970s. You find a lot of split-levels here: four or five half-storeys joined by short flights of stairs.
That kind of house ages well, but it partitions. The work usually means opening up the stairwell and joining the kitchen to the dining room. Each level has its own structure, so nothing comes out before we have checked what carries load.

What people in DDO ask us.
Can we open between two levels in a split-level house?
Yes, it can be done, and it is the change that transforms this kind of house the most. Structure and guardrail have to be handled together, though, because the opening creates a drop that the Code has precise requirements about.
Do you manage the subtrades?
Yes. The electrician, the plumber and the other trades go through us, in the order the job needs them. You deal with one person from beginning to end.
Do you build new?
Yes, as much as we renovate. Custom building and home additions are two of our three main kinds of project, the third being major renovation.
Do you work outside your territory?
It happens. The territory shown is where we go without question. Anywhere else in Greater Montreal, write to us with your address and we will give you a yes or a no quickly.
